No. Every product update reads the current product first and writes back only the fields being synced, quantity, price, so descriptions, images, SEO fields, and anything your other plugins maintain are preserved exactly as you left them.
Data loss from full-object overwrites is a real failure mode in this category; read-modify-write is how we engineered it out.
